Use your gifts of faith and citizenship to influence public policy. Meet with others who want to apply principles of the Christian faith to issues of public policy at the local, state and national levels.

Although many of us are interested in advocacy and want to have a voice in public policy decisions, we are more likely to write when we gather on a regular basis to learn about issues and discuss our response. We invite you to join us to write letters or send e-mail on these and other issues:
  • World Hunger
  • Domestic Hunger Policy
  • Welfare Reform
  • Capitol punishment
  • Early childhood and other education issues
  • Immigration reform
  • Gay and Lesbian rights
  • Peace in the Middle East
  • Human rights in Central America

Our study will be based on Biblical reflection, actions taken by the Lutheran public policy offices, and statements of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

We use legislative resources from

  • Lutheran Office of Governmental Ministry - Colorado
  • Bread for the World
  • Lutheran Office of Governmental Affairs (Washington, D.C.)
  • Southern Africa Network of the ELCA
  • Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services

Email us if you are interested.
