Giving through Saint Paul |
|
This fall many of us have been engaging in conversations about stewardship “how we as stewards make decisions about our lives, our possessions, and our time. As we dedicate our lives to God, we make decisions about what we do with our lives. Stewardship is more than talk of tithing, more than figuring out how to pay the expenses of the church.
It is about how we live out our calling, how we spend our energy and our resources for God's work. Stewardship colors all of our life's decision-making. As a community we can inspire each other with generosity, encouraging an attitude of gratitude. We are called to be the body of Christ in the world “to do God's work, share our blessings received from God, and do God's will.” How will we take care of all that God has blessed us with? How will we use these blessings to accomplish God's will for the world?
There are a variety of ways that you can give through Saint Paul.
- Give offering during worship services.
- Send a check to the Saint Paul Community of Faith
1600 Grant Street, Denver, CO 80203
- Set up automatic withdrawal through your bank.
- In order to be stewards of our offerings, we have chosen to not have payments set up through our website which requires a transaction fee.

Last year, the Rocky Mountain Synod, part of your giving, raised $53,016 for the Malaria Campaign, and and this year we have already raised $23,193! Every day more congregations are finding creative ways to raise awareness about malaria. We want to hear from you! Share your story of how your congregation is taking part in the ELCA Malaria Campaign.
Our Facebook page (Lutheran Malaria Campaign, Rocky Mountain Synod of the ELCA) is a great place to share and find ideas. You can also send your story to Deb Abbott at debabbott99 at Gmail & don't forget to Like us on Facebook! |

Welcome to all new and existing members of Saint Paul |
|
The Stewardship Committee of Saint Paul is made up of 5-10 church members who meet monthly to discuss the Stewardship needs and possibilities of our communities of faith. Summarily, our mission is to:
Aid in the discernment of gifts through relationship with God and with all people; Guide members in becoming active/participatory partners in Saint Paul's ministry; Develop strategies for growing the membership and resources for carrying out the ministries of St. Paul.
In addition, we will encourage the community of Saint Paul to:
Respond to the needs of our greater community using our spiritual, service, and financial gifts;
Trust that our needs will be met, and we will be given the gifts to continue helping others.
